Norway is generally a very safe country for travel with punctual and clean public transport. Nearly all Norwegians speak excellent English and are very helpful. If you have any difficulties, you shouldn’t have any trouble finding someone who can point you in the right direction.

Stavanger – Bus From The Airport

Stavanger (Sola) Airport has a bus leaving roughly every 20 mins for the town centre.
Journey time is 30 minutes to the centre of town.
Tickets cost about 140 NOK bought in advance.

Train Travel – Stavanger

Train journeys in Norway are spectacular. Train travel in Norway is clean and surprisingly reasonably priced. Trains going from Oslo to Stavanger take around 8 hours. If you have the time it’s a good way to see the interior of Norway.

This map gives you enough information to plan your travel and familiarise yourself with the area but remember we may be on a different pontoon or quay on the day. You can always phone us to check.
