This voyage is a dream come true – a whole month to sail where the wind blows in some of the most fantastic scenery in the world. This an opportunity to live the life of sailing, walks ashore, exploring, fishing, generally chilling out and enjoying life. We’ll be crossing the Arctic Circle and visiting Lofoten along the way.

We landed, pulled in beside a few pine fishing boats, hibernating over the summer. It was another world. At midnight we looked through the portholes to the thick gold sun hanging above the fire-peaks of the mountains, lighting the varnish inside the cabin.

From Trondheim to Bodo is only 290 miles, a mere 10 miles a day. Where will we go? Lofoten for sure, maybe as far north as Tromsø but then again maybe not. The area right on the Arctic Circle is lovely. In a nutshell there is so much to do in this area a lifetime would not be enough. Last time Trinovante sailed an month long voyage up here the time flew by.
As you know John likes to find new places so expect some of those and of course we’ll be revisiting our favourite places too.
Will we be going to the place in the photo above? We’ll try our hardest.
This video was made by Trinovante crew Ryan on a previous month long voyage in Norway. He had a new Go Pro camera especially for the occasion. Thanks for the link Ryan.
We now have links to loads of Sailing Videos made both by Trinovante Crew and SchoonerSail (which actually means Su).
The blog has not been updated for a while but has lots of good articles written by Trinovante crew. Our news now goes on the SchoonerSail Facebook Page
