Please do not pay us any money, book flights, make any travel or other arrangements until we have accepted your booking by email.

If you are trying to contact us by phone or email bear in mind that during the sailing season we may be at sea – view our sailing holidays itinerary to work out if this is likely.
At any other time you can usually expect a response within 24 hours.
Your booking has been accepted and the first part of your voyage payment is now due.
There are three ways you can pay.
1. Bank transfer – we will send you our bank details once we have accepted your booking.
2. Cheque in the post (send this with your booking form if you are applying by post) made payable to SchoonerSail Limited
3. By Credit or Debit card through Pay Pal – you do not need to have a Pay Pal account and there is no charge. Click on the link below to go to our payment page.
Your Booking Is Confirmed Once This Payment Is Made. Please do not book flights, make any travel or other arrangements until we have confirmed your booking by email.
Your second voyage payment is the remaining 50% of your voyage fee.
This is due when you arrive onboard Trinovante. It is easier for us (and probably you) if you make arrangements to do a bank transfer shortly before you arrive – most of our regular sailors do this or by cash when you arrive onboard using British Pounds Sterling.
We may also be able to accept other currencies – check with us first.
We will send out a confirmation of your booking by email. This email will contain all the information you need prior to arriving on the boat. Please make sure you read it thoroughly and keep it for future reference.
Now is the time to go ahead and arrange your travel to and from the ship plus travel insurance.

If at this stage you find you cannot arrange travel or insurance you can cancel and get a full refund so long as this is within the time period specified in the SchoonerSail Terms And Conditions. This time period is currently 14 days from your booking being confirmed or if the voyage starts less than 6 weeks from your booking date this is time frame is reduced to 48 hours.
If we have to cancel your holiday due to Covid Regulations we refund in full any amounts paid.
The balance for your sailing holiday is due on the day you join the ship. You can either do this by bank transfer or pay in cash when you arrive. Full instructions can be found in your booking confirmation email.

Bring your Sailing Holiday Insurance Policy with you. You cannot sail without it.
If you are on a voyage between two different countries you must also bring a valid passport.
First of all check the Travel To The Ship page for your voyage. Here you will find a google map of the port with the most likely place Trinovante will be berthed. Remember that the exact berth position can change at any time.
When Trinovante arrives in port as long as we have internet we email joining instructions for the position of the boat. We will also aim to post this information on our facebook page – again this depends on internet access.
You will probably be able to track the boat via AIS using a free site such as Vessel Finder (app on your phone) or ring us on the boat phone.
Make sure you let us know if you change your email address or mobile number between booking and sailing.
