Getting to Norway
Flying to Norway can be surprisingly cheap
with flights starting at around £30. Its best to book early because prices will only ever seem go up .

Catch a train - highly recommended by several crew!
Many people fly to Oslo (Torp or Gardermon) or Bergen, Trondheim or Bodo and catch a train from there. Trains seem to be very good value if you book in advance. Tickets start at around £30 one way. The web site is easy to use and there is a good map of the train network.
If you have plenty of time (or are on a budget) these train journeys through Norway are rated as some of the best in the world
Sleeper cabins are available on the following journeys for an extra 850 Kroner (around £85) per compartment which can sleep two.

Oslo Torp Airport (put TORP SANDEFJORD LUFTHAVN in the station search box) to

Oslo Gardermon Airport put (GARDERMOEN OSLO LUFTHAVN in the station search box) to
-Stavanger between 6-10 hours
-Trondheim around 10 hours
-Bodo 20 hours
Bergen to Trondheim around 14 hours

Ipswich The boat will be in Ipswich Haven Marina (IP3 0EA) which
is a fifteen minute walk from the train station. If
you come by car for a taster weekend there is
parking at the marina.

Trondheim The boat will be in the docks
at Trondheim - the exact berth will not be know
until Trinovante arrives. The bus from the airport
takes 55 minutes and costs about £10. This gets you to the train Station
from where you can walk to the
boat.
Bodo
The
quay where the boat is normally berthed is a ten minute bus ride from Bodo Airport or a short walk rom the Train station.
Stavanger Our berth is yet to be arranged in Stavanger

Amsterdam Trinovante will be berthed in the Ijhaven docks about 15 mins walk from Central station .Amsterdam is very easy to get to with many combinations of of cheap flights,ferries and trains.
London- Limehouse Basin(E14 8EG) in Stepney East London is the most eastern link between regents Canal and the Thames.The docklands light railway Limehouse station is nearby.
