Sweden to Lithuania - Kalmar to Klaipeda

A voyage with one 150 mile offshore passage. We may spend a day or so in Sweden first, possibly on the island of Oland or maybe we will visit the old sailing ship village of Bergkvara. If the wind is favourable we may head straight out for a landfall in Latvia at Liepaja or maybe we will explore the Curonian lagoon close to Klaipeda, Lithuania. As ever it all depends on the weather. This will be our first visit to this part of the Amber Coast of the Baltic so for Trinovante everything remains to be discovered....

Tall Ships Parade of Sail, Poland to Germany
Szczecin to Kiel, Holtenau

Set sail from Szczecin as part the Tall Ships Parade onboard Trinovante. Then cross the inland seas along the Polish and North German coasts. Part of the old East Germany, this is an area little known to sailors in the UK. It has been likened to the Norfolk Broads on a grand scale and promises fine sheltered waters sailing. From here it is likely we will visit some of the Danish islands before finishing the voyage at Holtenau, Kiel. We can be sure on this stretch of coast to be sailing in company with other large traditional sailing ships which always adds to the enjoyment. Expect day sailing with short passages between islands.

Arrive onboard 6pm, leave around 10am on the last day.
