Offshore, coastal and sheltered waters sailing - the voyage with everything.
Join the ship 6 pm on the first day, leave around 10am on the last day.
What will you get from this sailing holiday?
This voyage will be mostly day sailing with one offshore overnight passage between Sweden and Lithuania or Latvia. When we arrive at our voyage end the City of Klaipeda will be gearing up to welcome the Tall Ships Fleet due to arrive in port on the 29th.
Trinovante finishes this voyage moored next to another well preserved Renaissance Castle this time at Kalmar. You know you are in Sweden, the marina here has saunas. Once one of Sweden's most important cities Kalmar is a very pretty town with well preserved buildings and parts of the old walls still intact.
Sailing South Past The Swedish Island Of Oland
The first leg of this voyage is likely to be a day sail down Kalmarsund to either Berkvara on the mainland, once a crowded sailing ship harbour but now a sleepy village with it's own maritime museum or a harbour on Oland Island itself.
Offshore And Heading East
Leaving the coast of Sweden we head out into the Baltic on a 150 mile offshore voyage to make a land fall in either Latvia Liepaja or maybe we will explore the Curonian lagoon close to Klaipeda
All voyage notes refer only to possible itineraries - where we sail, passage lengths and the places we call into will be entirely dependent on the wind and weather at the time.
