Thank you both for a lovely trip up North. It was good to have had the opportunity to visit that part of the world on Trinovante. It was so chilled and so very beautiful.
Here are a few extracts from my log book.

“lovely day-North Sea iron blue/grey and pleasantly lumpy-my imagination working overtime-dreaming overtime-it is good to have the time-sunny watch”

“great to see fulmars fishing near boat-effortlessly sweeping down and rushing between peaks of mercurial North Sea”

“a bumble bee weaved down the deck and welcomed us to land...”

“Have had the fabulous time in Bergen: The Cafe Madeleina and the Vägen Bar were such good fun.”

An excerpt from Victorias log book

“The scale of the fjords is very disconcerting-I thought a boat was a duck, until I noticed the house behind it!”

“Trondheim: Headed for Blaklandet Skydsstation for pilgrims supper-last stop for pilgrims of St Olav, who tried to convert the locals and was chopped up for his trouble- I hope we are not having mince for supper!”

NORTHERN LIGHT

My whole vision filled-my soul easing its stays

Water

Light

Pop up surprises

Christmas tree oil rigs

Bright constellations

Sun soothed-windsmoothed map of my life

I face the weather and feel the salty healing

Burdens are jettisoned

I am lighter
