We expect Trinovante to be moored a short distance from Central Station in Amsterdam. Probably on the Summatrakade.
from the UK, you can catch a ferry from Harwich to Hook of Holland and then get a train to Central Station, SailRail do an inclusive deal with train fares either end included. Another very useful website for Train travel is the Man in Seat 61 website.
All routes take you to Amsterdam Central Station.
From here catch a no 48 bus from stop F across the road from Central Station. Make sure you are going in an easterly direction - with your back to station this would be towards your left. Get off at Majangracht. If you miss the stop don't worry. The bus stops at the end of the road anyway. The bus journey takes about 8 mins.
If you are going to spend some time in Amsterdam and intend to visit some of their world class museums check out the Dutch Museum Card
This SchoonerSail created map shows the bus route. This is obviously a very long way round if you are walking.
Click on the Google Map icons above to reveal more information. The exact location of Trinovante is finalised on arrival in port and we then update joining crew by email..
